Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will shift to the south side of the street, and construction will move to the north side. Significant traffic and pedestrian changes will be in effect. As early as Monday, July 4, 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will begin sidewalk restoration works at the south-west and south-east corners of Eglinton Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue.

The laneway located between Chaplin Crescent and Russell Hill Road, south of Eglinton Avenue, has reopened. Construction activities north and south of the Tertiary Entrance will continue through Fall 2022.

What Work Is Taking Place?
From Monday, July 4 - Wednesday, July 6, 2022, crews will perform watermain work at Forest Hill Station. Nightly water shut-offs are required to facilitate the work. The water shut-offs will start at 7:30 p.m. for approximately twelve (12) hours. Water service will be restored each morning and upon completion of the work. What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday, June 28, 2022, traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to a single eastbound lane between Everden Road and Allen Road North to facilitate paving works. This work is expected to begin at 6:00 a.m. and will take approximately four (4) hours to complete. Once the paving works are complete, the lane will reopen.
