Updated: Guideway Work along Surface Section of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT: Warden Avenue to Birchmount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be continuing guideway work in the center of Eglinton Avenue East between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road. Starting as early as March 16, 2019 for approximately eight (8) months.
The work includes cutting and removal of existing asphalt, excavation, installation of subgrade materials, duct banks installation and track drainage, track slab and stops. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be continuing guideway work in the centre of Eglinton Avenue East between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road. Starting as early as mid-March 2019 for approximately eight (8) months.
The work includes cutting and removal of existing asphalt, excavation, installation of subgrade materials, duct banks installation and track drainage, track slab and stops.

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will continue to relocate and upgrade existing overhead and underground telecommunication between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road.
Telecom work has been extended until the Spring 2019.

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting hydro pole and duct relocation work 50 meters south of Warden Avenue.
Starting as early as Monday, December 3rd, and lasting for approximately two (2) weeks, there will be intermittent sidewalk closure south west of Warden Avenue in order to safely carry out the work. Read more »

Extended: Telecommunication Relocation Work between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
Crews will continue to relocate and upgrade existing overhead and underground telecommunication between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road, as part of construction of the future surface section for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
Telecom work commenced in February and has been extended until the end of the year (Fall/Winter 2018).

What Work is Taking Place?
In support of construction of the future At Grade stops, crews have been upgrading and relocating existing overhead hydro utilities between Pharmacy Avenue and Warden Avenue near Eglinton Avenue East.
Starting as early as Monday, November 5, 2018 and lasting for approximately two (2) weeks, crews will be conducting hydro pole installation at the north-west, north-east, and south-west corners of Warden Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East. Read more »
