(Update) Overnight OCS Cable Installation on Eglinton Ave at Victoria Park, Eglinton Square and Pharmacy Avenue Intersections

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will be installing Overhead Catenary System (OCS) cables along Eglinton Avenue East, between Victoria Park Avenue and Pharmacy Avenue. OCS is the system installed overtop of the rails of a light rail system, to provide operational power to the Light Rail Vehicles (LRV’s). Installation will take place October 19-23 and 26-30, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

(Updated) Glazing Installation at Golden Mile, Birchmount, O'Connor and Wynford Stops

What Work is Taking Place?

Shelter installation has been ongoing across the surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, beginning October 26, 2020, crews will perform glazing installation at the Wynford, O'Connor, Golden Mile and Birchmount stop shelters.  Glazing consists of glass Installation works for the LRT shelters.

Updated: North and South Platform Shelter Installation at O'Connor Stop

As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will install permanent shelters at the O'Connor Stop north and south platform. North platform installation will begin as early as September 21, 2020 for approximately three days and the south platform will follow for approximately three days.
