Times Road Closure for Electrical Works at Oakwood Station - November 17, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Thursday November 18, 2021, crews at Oakwood Station will perform electrical works on Times Road between Livingstone Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, Times Road will be closed between Eglinton Avenue West and the laneway to the north for approximately one (1) day. Times Road will be converted to a two-way street between the laneway and Livingstone Avenue during the closure. To allow for two-way traffic, parking on Times Road between the laneway and Livingstone Avenue will be prohibited during the closure.

What to Expect

No access to Eglinton Avenue West from Times Road. Noise from construction activity can be expected while this work takes place. Upon completion of the works, Times Road will reopen.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Thursday November 18, 2021 for approximately one (1) day
  • Construction activities will take place between 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Times Road will be closed between Eglinton Avenue West and the laneway to the north
  • Times Road will be converted to a two-way street between the laneway and Livingstone Avenue for the duration of the closure
  • Parking on Times Road will be prohibited during the closure
  • Access to the laneway will be maintained

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The sidewalk on the east side of Times Road will be closed between Livingstone Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West
