Update: Sidewalk Restoration Works at Oakwood Station - Ongoing through June 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

Sidewalk restoration works are ongoing at Oakwood Station on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, east and west of the Main Entrance site (refer to the map above). This work will continue to take place between 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) weeks. Short-term pedestrian rerouting may be required to complete this work. Chipping of concrete will occur periodically as crews remove the existing sidewalk.

What to Expect

 Periodic noise and vibration from construction activities including chipping, concrete pours, and hammering. Expected delays while traveling through the intersection. 

HOURS OF WORK

· Ongoing for approximately two (2) weeks between 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. 

· This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

· No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected because of this work. 

· Short-term pedestrian rerouting may be required.  

·   All TTC stops are expected to remain in their current locations. 

·  Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
