What Work is Taking Place?

On Thursday, October 27, 2022, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform traffic signal installations at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East. Rolling lane closures are required to facilitate this work. Periodically, Eglinton Avenue East will be reduced to one lane only at the intersection, with traffic alternating in each direction. To mitigate impact to the traveling public, this work will take place during off-peak hours between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) day.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including material loading, hammering, and the use of a lift, can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. 

HOURS OF WORK

• Thursday, October 27, 2022, between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) day.
• This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Rolling lane closures are required to complete this work.
• Periodically, Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East will be reduced to one lane only, with traffic alternating in each direction.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS 

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected, as a result of this work.
