What Work is Taking Place? 

There will be temporary lane closures west of Victoria Park on Wednesday November 27, and Thursday November 28, to facilitate utility relocation at O’Connor Stop.

The eastbound left turn lane and the inner westbound lane on Eglinton Avenue East will be closed at Victoria Park Avenue for two (2) days.

Hours of Work

• Beginning November 27^, 2019 and lasting two (2) days
• This work will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. 
• The contractor may not always work during these hours, but may do so at its discretion.
• Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances

What to Expect

• The eastbound left turn lane and the inner westbound lane on Eglinton Avenue East will be closed at Victoria Park Avenue
• Nearby businesses and residents can expect noise from excavation, bobcats, trucks and other construction equipment caused by utilities relocation activity.
• Pedestrians and road users can expect delays when traveling through work zone
• As always, please take care when travelling near work sites

Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts

• One lane of westbound traffic will be maintained
• Eastbound and westbound left turns will be prohibited on to Victoria Park Avenue
• Emergency services access will be maintained
• Pedestrian access will be maintained at the intersection
