What Work is Taking Place?

As early as, Thursday, December 29, 2022, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform fire hydrant testing at the Main Entrance site. To facilitate this work, the southbound right turn lane from Mount Pleasant Road to Eglinton Avenue East will be closed (refer to graphic above). Construction activities are expected to take place between approximately 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the area. A traffic control personnel and/or paid duty officer will be present while this work is taking place.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Thursday, December 29, 2022.

• Construction activities are expected to take place between approximately 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

• This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• The southbound right turn from Mount Pleasant Road to Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted while this work takes place.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
