What Work is Taking Place?
As early as, Monday, August 22, 2022, crews at Science Centre Station will be performing storm and sanitary sewer maintenance inspections and repairs on Eglinton Avenue East and Don Mills Road. To facilitate this work, periodic lane closures may be in effect on Eglinton Avenue East and Don Mills Road. One lane of traffic in each direction on Eglinton Avenue East and Don Mills Road will be maintained at all times. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be preset while inspections take place. This works is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) month.
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities, can be expected. Periodic lane closures will be in effect on Eglinton Avenue East and Don Mills Road. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be preset while traffic lights are being activated. Access to all properties will be maintained.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Wednesday, August 24, 2022, for approximately one (1) month.
- This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
- This work may be longer or shorter than expected.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Periodic lane closures may be in effect on Eglinton Avenue East and Don Mills Road.
- One lane of traffic in each direction on Eglinton Avenue East and Don Mills Road will be maintained at all times.
PEDESTRIAN DETAIL
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes as a result of this work.

- Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
