South Crosswalk Reinstatement at Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive

 

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday, April 29, 2022, a new pedestrian configuration will be implemented at Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive. The east-west crosswalk located on the south sidewalk at Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive will be reinstated. The east sidewalk on Laird Drive will remain closed between Eglinton Avenue East and Parklea Drive. The south sidewalk on Eglinton Avenue East will remain closed by the Secondary Entrance.

What to Expect

The east-west crosswalk located on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive will be reinstated.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Friday, April 29, 2022.
  • Reinstatement may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changed to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The east-west crosswalk located on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive will be reinstated.
  • The west sidewalk on Laird Drive will remain closed between Eglinton Avenue East and Parklea Drive.
  • The south sidewalk on Eglinton Avenue East will remain closed by the Secondary Entrance.

  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
