What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday, May 24, 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will begin sidewalk restoration works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, east and west of the Main Entrance site (refer to map). This work will take place between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week. Short-term pedestrian rerouting may be required to complete this work.
What to Expect
Noise from construction equipment including jackhammers, trucks, and hammers can be expected. Expected delays while travelling through the intersection.
HOURS OF WORK
- Starting as early as Tuesday, May 24, 2022, between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., for approximately one (1) week
- This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- Short-term pedestrian rerouting may be required.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- All TTC stops are expected to remain in their current locations.
- Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
