Sidewalk Restoration Works at Eglinton Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue as early as July 20, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Wednesday, July 20, 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will continue sidewalk restoration works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West between Times Road and the Main Entrance site.  To complete this work safely, the pedestrian route will be shifted slightly south, while crews finish constructing the north half of the sidewalk. This work will take place between 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction equipment including excavators, jackhammers, trucks, and hammers can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Advance signage will be in place for pedestrians. Access to private properties will be maintained.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Wednesday, July 20, 2022, between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., for approximately three (3) days
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• The pedestrian route on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, between Times Road and the Main Entrance site, will be shifted slightly south

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• All TTC stops are expected to remain in their current locations.
• Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
