What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday, January 27, 2023, crews at Cedarvale Station will begin sidewalk restoration works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West between 1188 Eglinton Avenue West and 1220 Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, temporary pedestrian rerouting will be in effect between 1188 Eglinton Avenue West and 1220 Eglinton Avenue West. Temporary ramps will be installed at the building entrances to maintain access to businesses and private property. This work is expected to take place for two (2) weeks between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. 

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including breaking concrete and trucks, can be expected. Property access will be maintained at all times. Concrete barriers, fencing, and signage will be in place to delineate the work zones. Expect delays while traveling through the area.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Friday, January 27, 2023, for approximately two (2) weeks
  • This work is expected to take place between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
  • This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS 

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • Temporary pedestrian rerouting will be in effect between 1188 Eglinton Avenue West and 1220 Eglinton Avenue West
  • Temporary ramps will be installed at the building entrances to maintain access to businesses and private property
