Sidewalk Restoration at Laird Station Main Entrance
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Friday, November 26, 2021, crews will be performing sidewalk restoration at Laird Station’s Main Entrance. To accommodate this work, a lane reduction will be in place on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of the Main Entrance. Pedestrians will be safely rerouted around the work zone. This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) weeks.
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and trucks, can be expected.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Friday, November 26, 2021, for approximately two (2) weeks.
- This work is expected to take place on Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Work may take longer or shorter than expected.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstance.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- A work zone will be in place on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of the Main Entrance
- All other traffic configurations remain in place.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- Pedestrians will be safely rerouted around the work zone.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- The eastbound TTC bus stop located at the southwest corner by the main entrance will be relocated west of the work zone [TTC routes 34, 51, 54, 56, 334, and 354].
