Sidewalk and Lane Closure at Laird Station Friday August 7, 2020

What Work Is Taking Place?
On Friday August 7, 2020, crews will perform a concrete pour at the Laird Station Main Entrance site.  The work will be performed using a mobile crane and several concrete trucks.  The eastbound curb lane on Eglinton Avenue East, the south sidewalk in front of Laird Station Main Entrance as well as the west and south crosswalks at Laird Drive and Eglinton Avenue East will be closed while this work takes place.  Upon completion of the pour, the lane, sidewalk and crosswalks will re-open.

What to Expect
Noise from construction activity, including concrete trucks, concrete pumps and a crane can be expected.  Several concrete trucks will enter and exit the work zone each hour.  Please note that concrete trucks must remain running to allow for continuous turning of the mixer and to discharge concrete. Hours of Work
• Friday August 7, 2020 beginning at 7:00 a.m. for approximately eight (8) hours
• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

Pedestrian Details
• The south sidewalk on Eglinton Ave E will be closed from Laird Dr to west of the Main Entrance site
• The west and south crosswalks at Laird Dr and Eglinton Ave E will be closed

Traffic Details
• The eastbound curb lane on Eglinton Ave E will be closed from Laird Dr to west of the Main Entrance site

TTC Details
• The TTC bus stop located on the south side of Eglinton Ave E, west of Laird Dr will be temporarily relocated further west
