Road Restoration Works at Oakwood Station - November 29, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday November 29, 2021, crews at Oakwood Station will perform road restoration works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West. Rolling lane closures are required to complete this work. Periodically, Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction, east and west of Oakwood Avenue. This work is expected to take place between 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) day.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including asphalt paving, can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Monday November 29, 2021 for approximately one (1) day
• This work is expected to take place between 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  
• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction east of Oakwood Avenue.
• Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
