Road Milling Works - Victoria Park and Eglinton Intersection

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday, September 27, 2021, crews will perform road milling in preparation for the upcoming final road restoration works at the Eglinton Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue intersection. Work continues through to Wednesday, September 29, 2021 between 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., with occasional accessory work taking place during regular work hours. Traffic in the intersection will be periodically reduced. Through-traffic in all directions and all turns will be maintained.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities including asphalt removals (milling) and asphalt paving. Access to all connecting streets and driveways will be maintained for the duration of this work. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

Traffic Impacts

  • Traffic in the intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue will be periodically reduced from Monday, September 27 – Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Pedestrian Impacts

  • There will be no changes to pedestrian routes
  • There will be no changes to TTC stops

Hours of Work

  • Monday, September 27 – Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
  • This work is expected to take place between 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances
