What Work is Taking Place?

In preparation for the upcoming final road restoration works, crews will perform road milling works on Eglinton Avenue East between Swift Drive and Victoria Park Avenue. This work will begin as early as Monday, August 16, 2021, and continue through to Friday, August 20, 2021. This work is expected to take place between 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with occasional accessory work taking place during regular work hours. What to Expect

Noise from construction activities including asphalt removals (milling) and asphalt paving. Access to all connecting streets and driveways will be maintained for the duration of this work. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

Traffic Impacts

  • Traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be periodically reduced to one lane only from Monday, August 16 to Friday, August 20, 2021

Pedestrian Impacts

  • There will be no changes to pedestrian routes
  • There will be no changes to TTC stops

Hours of Work

  • Monday, August 16 to Friday, August 20, 2021
  • This work is expected to take place between 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances
