Closure of Flanders Road at Eglinton Avenue West - July 1, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as mid-July 2021, Flanders Road will be closed at Eglinton Avenue West for approximately six (6) months to accommodate utility restoration works at Cedarvale Station. The closure will remain in place 24-hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Flanders Road will be converted to a two-way street between Eglinton Avenue West and Dewbourne Avenue, for the duration of the closure. For full details, please review the complete notice.

What to Expect

There will be no access to Eglinton Avenue West from Flanders Road. Flanders Road will remain open at Dewbourne Avenue for local traffic only. Access to properties and driveways will be maintained. Noise from construction activity can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the area.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Starting as early as mid-July 2021 for approximately six (6) months
  • The closure may be in place shorter or longer than expected
  • This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

  • Flanders Road will be closed at Eglinton Avenue West
  • Flanders Road will be converted to a two-way street between Eglinton Avenue West and Dewbourne Avenue
  • Flanders Road will remain open at Dewbourne Avenue for local traffic only

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
