Pedestrian Route Change at Cedarvale Station - August 30, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday August 30, 2021, a new pedestrian route will be implemented at Eglinton Avenue West and Everden Road. South of Eglinton Avenue West, pedestrians will be rerouted to the west side of Everden Road (see map for reference). This pedestrian route will remain in place for several months.

What to Expect

Fencing and filter cloth will be installed to delineate pedestrians from construction and street traffic. Periodic noise and lighting can be expected while the changes are being implemented. 

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Monday August 30, 2021
• This route is expected to remain in place for several months
• This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• South of Eglinton Avenue West, pedestrians will be rerouted to the west side of Everden Road (see map for reference).
• The sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West, between Everden and Strathearn Roads, will remain closed.
