OVERNIGHT WATER MAIN TESTING
LAIRD STATION
On Wednesday, July 11, crews will test local watermains along Eglinton Avenue East from Brentcliffe Drive to Sutherland Drive. Periodic testing of utilities during the mining operations ensures work continues safely.
TIMING
- Work will occur on Wednesday July 11, between 10pm and 5am.
- Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
WHAT TO EXPECT
- A truck and small crew will move slowly along Eglinton Avenue East from Brentcliffe Drive to Sutherland Drive, stopping periodically.
- Nearby residents and businesses see some lights around the location the crew is working.
- Minimal noise is expected related to the testing.
TRAFFIC, PEDESTRIAN AND TTC IMPACTS
- Rolling lane closure will be in place at the location of the crew.
- One lane in each direction will be maintained.
- There are no pedestrian impacts related to the works.
- PDOs and/or traffic control persons may be on site to assist traffic in the area where necessary.
