What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Thursday July 23, 2020, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a concrete pour within the work zone of the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of Mount Pleasant Road. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. Notice of Water Shut-off and Overnight Watermain Connection Work at Mount Pleasant Station - July 19 – 24, 2020
What Work is Taking Place?
Starting Sunday July 19, 2020, crews will perform overnight watermain connection work in the existing work zone on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, west of Mt. Pleasant Road. This work will take approximately one (1) week to complete.
A water shut-off is required to facilitate this work. The water shut-off will take place overnight on Wednesday July 22, 2020. Please carefully review the ‘Water Shut-off Details’ section to determine whether your property will be affected. Read more »

Update: Utility Works at Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East - Tuesday July 7, 2020
What Work is Taking Place?
On Tuesday July 7, 2020 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform the final paving works for the permanent catch basin installations at Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East. This work requires rolling lane closures. Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction, while this work takes place. Work will take place between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty office will be present while this work takes place.

What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday July 7, 2020, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a concrete pour at the secondary entrance site. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and take approximately twelve (12) hours to complete.

What Work is Taking Place?
Deep excavation has been underway at Mount Pleasant Station since February 2020. Crews are currently excavating the station box beneath Eglinton Avenue. Soil is being removed through the Secondary Entrance located on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, between Mount Pleasant Road and Rawlinson Avenue. At the beginning of June, crews started to demolish the tunnels beneath Eglinton Avenue to make way for construction of the station underground. Read more »
