Upcoming Concrete Pour at Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East - October 31, 2020
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Saturday October 31, 2020 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a major concrete pour within the work zones on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, east and west of Mount Pleasant Road. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and take approximately twelve (12) hours to complete. Read more »

The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. What Work is Taking Place?
Starting Monday October 12, 2020, crews at Mt Pleasant Station will perform overnight watermain connection work on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, east of Mt Pleasant Road. To perform this work safely, crews will be required to temporarily close the westbound lane and north sidewalk on Eglinton Avenue East, between Mt Pleasant and Taunton Roads. Read more »

As early as Thursday October 8, 2020, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a concrete pour at the Secondary Entrance site, east of Mt Pleasant Road. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. Update: Overnight Watermain Reinstatement Work at Mount Pleasant Station - Starting Sunday October 4, 2020
What Work is Taking Place?
Starting Sunday October 4, 2020, overnight watermain reinstatement works will resume at Mount Pleasant Station. This work will take place within the existing work zones on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, east of Mt. Pleasant Road. Crews are expected to work overnight Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. for approximately two (2) weeks.
