Laneway Closure for Main Entrance Construction at Oakwood Station - September 30, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

On Thursday September 30, 2021, crews at Oakwood Station will be working in the laneway north of the Main Entrance site to facilitate architectural works. The laneway will be closed to through-traffic to facilitate these activities safely.

This work is expected to take place Thursday between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Property access within the laneway will be maintained at all times. For more information, please review the complete notice.

What to Expect

The laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site, located between Livingstone Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West, will be closed. For safety purposes, no through-traffic will be permitted in the laneway during the closure. Use of construction equipment, such as a telehandler and forklift, will be required to complete this work. Noise from construction activities - including hammering, material loading, and crane use - can be expected.

Expect delays while travelling through the laneway. Crews will endeavor to minimize disruption as much as possible, while this work take place.

• This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• The laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site will be closed to through-traffic
• All work zones on Eglinton Avenue West and Times Road will remain in place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• All pedestrian routes are expected to remain the same
• Short-term pedestrian rerouting through the laneway may be in effect
