Laneway Closure for Main Entrance Construction at Oakwood Station - May 27, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

The laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site will be closed periodically on Friday, May 27, 2022, while crews perform landscaping and architectural works. The laneway will be closed to through-traffic to facilitate these activities safely.

This work is expected to take place periodically between 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Property access via the laneway will be maintained at all times. For more information, please review the complete notice. 

What to Expect

No through access for vehicles while the laneway closure is in effect. The laneway will reopen after each day of work. Use of construction equipment, such as a telehandler and forklift, will be required to complete this work. Noise from construction activities including hammering, material loading, and crane use can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the laneway.

HOURS OF WORK

• Friday, May 27, 2022, between 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• The laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site will be closed periodically to through-traffic
• All work zones on Eglinton Avenue West and Times Road will remain in place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• All pedestrian routes are expected to remain the same
• Short-term pedestrian rerouting through the laneway may be in effect
