Laneway Closure for Main Entrance Construction at Oakwood Station - July 5, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as July 5, 2021, crews at Oakwood Station will begin working within the laneway north of the Main Entrance site to facilitate various architectural works, including pre-cast panel installations and glazing. Periodically, crews will be required to close the laneway for short durations to facilitate these activities safely.

This work is expected to take place Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) months. Property access within the laneway will be maintained at all times. For more information, please review the complete notice.

What to Expect

There will be intermittent closures of the laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site, located between Livingstone Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West. For safety purposes, no traffic will be permitted through the laneway during the closures. Use of construction equipment, such as a telehandler and forklift, will be required to complete this work. Noise from construction activities - including hammering, material loading, and crane use - can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the laneway. Crews will endeavor to minimize disruption as much as possible, while this work take place.
