Decking Removal at Kennedy Station
WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
Kennedy Station has advanced to a state to allow the temporary traffic deck to be removed from the roadway. Decking removal on the east side of the intersection will be completed early June 2020. A new traffic configuration (depicted below) will be implemented as early as June 7, 2020 to accommodate decking removal on the west side of the intersection. Work will continue for approximately five (5) weeks. The removal of the decking will improve road surface quality.

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
Kennedy Station has advanced to a state to allow the temporary traffic deck to be removed from the roadway. The removal will take place in two stages. Crews will begin with the removals on the east side of the intersection. The first stage (depicted below) will begin as early as May 9 and continue for approximately three (3) months. The removal of the decking will improve road surface quality.

What Work is Taking Place
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will install permanent curbs and sidewalks on the north and south side of Eglinton Avenue East, between Birchmount Road and Kennedy Road. Read more »
Tree Removal for West Platform Construction at Kennedy Station - April 14, 2020
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as April 14, 2020, crews will begin to remove a grouping of trees located on Metrolinx property in the GO corridor at Kennedy Station, behind 138 & 140 Benjamin Boulevard. The trees will be removed in support of the final design of the west platform at Kennedy Station.
Tree protection measures will be in effect, and environmental personnel will be on site to ensure tree removal and protection work is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Driveway Closures and Boulevard Restoration Works: Rosemount Drive to Kennedy Road - April 20, 2020
What Work is Taking Place
As part of the ongoing construction for the future surface alignment of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will begin driveway tie-ins and boulevard restoration on Eglinton Avenue East, between Rosemount Drive and Kennedy Road. Partial or full driveway closures may be required at some properties along Eglinton Avenue East to ensure that driveways are aligned with the grading of the road. Read more »
