Upcoming Driveway Closures between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive
Starting October 23, 2019, a series of temporary driveway closures will be in effect between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive to facilitate pavement reconstruction and road widening of Eglinton Avenue East, as part of the construction of Birchmount Stop. Eglinton-facing driveways at the following locations will be closed for approximately three (3) weeks while the work takes place:

Guideway Excavation from Birchmount Road to Rosemount Drive
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the ongoing pavement reconstruction works along Eglinton Avenue East in support of construction of the future surface stops, crews will continue with guideway excavation from Birchmount Road to Rosemount Drive.
As early as October 9th, 2019 the construction zone will shift to the center of Eglinton Avenue East between Birchmount Road to Rosemount Drive and be in place for approximately four (4) weeks. Read more »
Update: Driveway Closure at 2296 Eglinton Avenue East
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the ongoing works to build the LRT system along Eglinton Avenue East, crews will continue work with stage 2 at Massey Creek. The western driveway at 2296 Eglinton Avenue East will be closed as early as October 2nd and last for one (1) week. The eastern driver at 2300 Eglinton Avenue property will remained closed for four (4) months. The closures are required to carry out the construction works in a safe and prompt manner. Read more »
Pedestrian Walkway and Sidewalk Closures at Birchmount Road to Rosemount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting curb and pedestrian walkway work on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Road. Starting as early as Wednesday, October 2nd 2019, and lasting approximately three (3) weeks access to the main walkway of 2225 and 2239 Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily restricted. Update: North Driveway Closure at 2300 Eglinton Avenue East for Work at Massey Creek

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the ongoing works to build the LRT system along Eglinton Avenue East, crews will be replacing the existing culvert at Massey Creek. Work will continue for approximately 4 months. The creek is located at the signalized intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Rosemount Drive. Read more »
Update: East Bound Left Turn Temporarily Closed at Rosemount
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the ongoing works to build the LRT system along Eglinton Avenue East, crews will continue work with stage 2 at Massey Creek.
Preparatory work began in late February 2019 includes tree removals, dewatering of wells and deep excavation. Crews will be excavating nine and half (9.5) meters deep and replacing the storm water culvert.

Overnight Water Shut off August 28, 2019 7:00 PM — 5:00 AM at Massey Creek
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the ongoing works to replace the existing culvert at Massey Creek, crews will be upgrading and relocating wet utilities.
An overnight water shut off is required during these works. It will occur on Wednesday August 28 from 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.
