CONCRETE POUR AT LAIRD STATION
On March 6, 2020, crews will perform a concrete pour at the Main Entrance of Laird Station. Work will begin as early as 5:00am and the pour will be ongoing until approximately 7:00pm. Laird Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East will remain open while work takes place.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Approximately 54 concrete trucks will be required, an average of 5 trucks per hour.
- Three trucks will be staged at a time inside of the Main Entrance site.

- Trucks will enter the north side of the construction site from Eglinton Avenue East and leave from the east side of the site on to Laird Drive.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as March 6, 2020 for one (1) day.
- The concrete pour will begin at 5:00 a.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m.
- In the event of inclement weather, this work may be rescheduled.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
- A temporary closure of one southbound lane on Laird Drive south of Eglinton Avenue East.
- Increased truck traffic travelling through the area.
PEDESTRIAN AND TTC IMPACTS
- There will be no new impacts to existing pedestrian routes or TTC stops.
