TRAFFIC CHANGE ON EGLINTON AVENUE EAST BETWEEN BRENTCLIFFE ROAD AND THE WEST DON RIVER BRIDGE
WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
A change in traffic alignment is expected to occur on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and the West Don River Bridge as early as August 15, 2019. Eastbound and westbound traffic will be shifted to the north side of Eglinton Avenue East to accommodate the continued construction of the Brentcliffe Portal and the rehabilitation of the West Don River Bridge. What Work is Taking Place?
A change in traffic alignment was implemented late November, 2018 on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street.
Eastbound and westbound traffic has been rerouted to a temporary road south of the construction zone to accommodate the continued construction of the Brentcliffe Portal. Traffic will continue to be one lane in each direction. Read more »
Extended: Telecommunication Relocation Work between East of Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street
What Work Is Taking Place?
Crews will continue to relocate and upgrade existing overhead and underground telecommunication between east of Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street along Eglinton Avenue East in preparation for construction of the Brentcliffe Portal and Sunnybrook Park Stop.
Telecom work has been extended until the end of the year (Fall/Winter 2018).
