Sidewalk Closure for Massey Creek Culvert Work
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the ongoing works to build the LRT system along Eglinton Avenue East, crews will be replacing the existing culvert at Massey Creek. Work began as early as late February 2019 and will last for approximately nine (9) months. The creek is located at the signalized intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Rosemount Drive. Read more »
Updated: Guideway Work along Surface Section of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT: Warden Avenue to Birchmount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be continuing guideway work in the center of Eglinton Avenue East between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road. Starting as early as March 16, 2019 for approximately eight (8) months.
The work includes cutting and removal of existing asphalt, excavation, installation of subgrade materials, duct banks installation and track drainage, track slab and stops. Read more »
Intermittent Sidewalk Closure for Civil Road Work from Thermos Road to Birchmount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting civil road work in relation to road widening works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East between Thermos Road and Birchmount Road.
There will be intermittent sidewalk closure on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East between Thermos Road and Birchmount Road in order to safely carry out the work. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting subsurface utility investigation along Eglinton Avenue East between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive. Work began in November 2018 and will be extended until the end of March 2019. There will be sidewalk closure on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East in close proximity to 2306 Eglinton Avenue East in order to safely carry out the work. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?
In support of construction of the future Crosstown Light Rail Transit, crews will continue relocation and upgrading of existing overhead and underground utilities between Birchmount Road and Kennedy Road. Work began in June of 2017 and will continue for another six (6) months. Read more »

Extended: Telecommunication Relocation Work between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will continue to relocate and upgrade existing overhead and underground telecommunication between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road.
Telecom work has been extended until the Spring 2019.
Investigation of Underground Utilities between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive
What Work is Taking Place?
In support of construction of the future At-Grade stops, crews will be conducting subsurface utility engineering (SUE) investigation work along Eglinton Avenue East between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive.
Crews will drill bore holes and use a hydro-vacuum truck within the City’s right-of-way and roadway to determine the location and depth of existing underground utilities for design purposes. Read more »
