As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will install permanent curbs and sidewalks on the north and south side of Eglinton Avenue East, between Birchmount Road and Kennedy Road.  Read more »

Stop Construction at Ionview Road

 

What Work is Taking Place

As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be working on stop construction at Ionview Road, beginning Monday April 6, 2020 and lasting for two (2) weeks. 

Guideway and stop construction includes, cutting and removal of asphalt, excavation, installation of subgrade materials, duct banks installation, track drainage, track slab and stop construction.

What Work is Taking Place

As part of the ongoing works to build the LRT system along Eglinton Avenue East, crews continue work with stage two at Massey Creek. There will be a partial driveway closure to the driveway access for 2239 and 2243 Eglinton Avenue East. The partial driveway restriction will be extended through July 31 in order to carry out the remaining work safely. Access to the properties will be maintained at all times. Read more »

Closure on Rosemount Drive North of Eglinton Avenue East - Extended Until April 1, 2020

 

What Work is Taking Place

As part of the ongoing works to replace the existing culvert at Massey Creek, the current traffic configuration at Rosemount Drive and Eglinton Avenue East will be extended until April 1, 2020. Rosemount Drive will remain closed north of Eglinton Avenue East and north-south through traffic will be prohibited for the duration of the work.

Work continues at the east wing-wall of the creek and includes excavation, concrete works, removal of form work and backfilling.  Read more »

Extended Construction Hours at Massey Creek Culvert - February 4, 2020

 

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE

As part of the ongoing construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews continue rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Massey Creek culvert at the Eglinton Avenue East and Rosemount Drive intersection. 

Starting February 4, 2020, for a maximum period of three (3) weeks, crews will work extended hours to accelerate construction. Construction activities will include excavation, welding, rebar, formwork and concrete works.  Read more »
