Overnight OCS Cable Installation on Eglinton Ave at Laird, Leslie, Sloane & Kennedy. March 1 - April 2

 

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will be installing OCS (Overhead Catenary System) cables along Eglinton avenue east between Laird drive, Leslie street, Swift drive, Sloane avenue, and Kennedy road. Overhead catenary is the system installed overtop of the rails of a light rail system, to provide operational power to the LRVs (Light Rail Vehicles). Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will be installing OCS (Overhead Catenary System) cables along Eglinton Avenue East between Don Way (NE ramp, S-WN ramp), Swift Dr/Credit Union Dr, and Sloane Ave/Bermondsey Dr. Overhead catenary is the system installed overtop of the rails of a light rail system, to provide operational power to the LRVs (Light Rail Vehicles). Sidewalk Construction on Eglinton Ave, East of Sloane Avenue

 

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will be constructing final sidewalks on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, east of Sloane Avenue. Driveway tie-in works will also be performed at the Eglinton Ave East entrance for the condominiums at 1700, 1720 and 1730 Eglinton Avenue East. Work is expected to begin as early as November 11, 2020 and continue for approximately two weeks.
