What Work is Taking Place?
On Friday November 13, 2020, crews at Leaside Station will perform utility works within the left turn lane on Bayview Avenue at Glazebrook Avenue. Work will take place between 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Extended Construction Hours at Leaside Station - Late September 2020
What Work Is Taking Place?
In Summer 2020, crews completed excavation works at Leaside Station. Permanent works are currently taking place within the Station Box beneath Eglinton Avenue and at the Main, and Secondary Entrance sites. Permanent works are construction activities that shape the final station structure underground. These activities include waterproofing, placement of rebar/steel, mechanical and electrical installations, and concrete pours. Read more »
UpdateOvernight Decking Reinstatement Work at Leaside Station July 27, 2020 – August 8, 2020.
What Work is Taking Place?
From Tuesday August 4 – Saturday August 8, 2020 crews at Leaside Station will work overnight to reinstate the road decking at Eglinton Avenue East and Bayview Avenue. Work will be performed throughout all areas of the intersection, with crews occupying one lane on Eglinton Avenue East and Bayview Avenue, during each night of work.
Overnight Beam Removal and Fencing Relocation at Leaside Station
What Work is Taking Place?
From Monday July 13, 2020 – Friday July 25, 2020 crews at Leaside Station will work overnight to remove the steel beams beneath the road decking at the southeast corner of Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East. Crews will cut open the decking and remove the beams using a small crane. During this work, the construction fencing along the sidewalk will be permanently relocated further north, to accommodate station construction underground. Read more »
