Update: Extended Construction Hours at Leaside Station - June 2021
Through Summer 2021, crews at Leaside Station will continue to work extended construction hours at the station entrances and in the station box below Eglinton Avenue. Construction activities include waterproofing, placement of rebar and steel, formwork installations, mechanical electrical works, and concrete pours.

Upcoming Concrete Pour at Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East
As early as Wednesday April 14, 2021 crews at Leaside Station will perform a concrete pour at the Main Entrance site. The concrete will form the roof of Leaside Station’s Main Entrance building.
Fire Hydrant Removal at Eglinton Avenue East and Donlea Drive
From Wednesday March 31 – Thursday April 1, 2021, crews will work to remove an abandoned fire hydrant at the north-east corner of Eglinton Avenue East and Donlea Drive. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

From Wednesday March 31 – Monday, April 5, 2021, crews will work to remove an abandoned fire hydrant at the north-east corner of Eglinton Avenue East and Donlea Drive. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Scaffolding Installation at Leaside Station's Main Entrance -February 15 2021
As early as February 15, 2021, crews at Leaside Station will begin to install a temporary scaffolding system along the east wall of the Main Entrance site to provide overhead protection and delineation for the work zone. Scaffolding installation will take place within the work zone between 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) days. The scaffolding system will remain in place for approximately four (4) months.
