Notice of Sound Barrier Removal at Avenue Station - June 24, 2021
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Thursday June 24, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will begin to remove the sound barrier located on the north side of the Secondary Entrance. Removal of the sound barrier is required to facilitate above ground construction of the Secondary Entrance. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) days.
Concrete Pours at Avenue Station's Main Entrance - June 17, 2021
On Wednesday, June 16 and Thursday June 17, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will perform two concrete pours at the Main Entrance site. To safely carry out the works, westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane at the Main Entrance. Each pour will begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and will take approximately twelve (12) hours to complete. Crews will endeavor to minimize the disruption caused by this work. Read more »
