What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday, November 25, 2022, crews at Leaside Station will perform paving works within the existing work zones at the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East. Noise from construction equipment such as dump trucks, pavers, milling machines, and compactors can be expected while this work takes place. Crews may occupy traffic lanes for a short duration as construction equipment enters and exits the work zones.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities such as milling, paving, and compacting can be expected. Truck staging in and around the work zones. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection.  Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present during this work. Once the paving works are completed, crews will perform traffic line painting at the intersection. 

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Friday, November 25, 2022, for approximately one (1) day.

• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

• This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Crews may occupy traffic lanes for a short duration as construction equipment enters and exits the work zones.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
