What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Monday November 1, 2021, and lasting through Monday, November 8, 2021, crews will continue sidewalk restoration at Laird Station’s Main Entrance. To accommodate this work, a lane reduction will be in place on Eglinton Avenue East, west of Laird Drive, and pedestrians will be safely rerouted around the work zone.
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Monday November 1, 2021, for approximately one (1) week
- This work is expected to take place on Monday - Friday between 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
- Work may take longer or shorter than expected
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstance
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- A work zone will be in place on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of Laird Drive
- All other traffic configurations remain in place
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- Pedestrians will be rerouted around the work zone
- The south east-west crosswalk is closed
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
