Overnight Work at Laird Station

On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, overnight work will take place at Laird Station to accommodate ongoing permanent wet utility work. Work will take place in the work zone on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, East of Laird Drive. 

What to Expect

Overnight noise from construction equipment, including hydro-vacuum trucks and excavators, can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection. 

Hours of Work

•    Tuesday, October 5, 2021, between 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. 

•    Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

•    This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

Traffic Details

•    A work zone will be in place on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, East of Laird Drive. 

•    Westbound traffic will be reduced to one (1) lane by the work zone. 

•    All other traffic configurations remain in place.

Pedestrian Details

•    No pedestrian impacts are associated with this work.

Transit Information

•    All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
