Traffic Configuration Change at Laird Station

As early as Monday March 22, 2021, a temporary traffic configuration change will be implemented at Laird Drive and Eglinton Avenue to accommodate material hoisting, escalator delivery and crane disassembly.  Laird Dr south of Eglinton Ave will be reduced to one northbound shared through-right turn lane, one northbound left turn lane and one southbound lane.  The configuration will be in place for approximately one (1) month.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activity can be expected.  Motorists may experience delays when travelling through the intersection.

Hours of Work

• The traffic configuration change will be implemented as early as Monday March 22, 2021 and will remain in place for approximately one (1) month.

Traffic and Pedestrian Details

• Laird Dr south of Eglinton Ave will be reduce to one shared northbound through-right turn lane, one northbound left turn lane and one southbound lane

• There will be no changes to the existing pedestrian routes or TTC stops
