Laneway Closure at Chaplin Station December 2020 to February 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as December 17, 2020, the laneway located between Chaplin Crescent and Russell Hill Road, south of Eglinton Avenue West, will be closed behind the Tertiary Entrance work zone to make way construction of the Tertiary Entrance building.

What to Expect

The Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway will be closed behind the Tertiary Entrance. Impacted properties will be contacted directly. Noise from construction activity, including use of an excavator, crane and trucks, as well as equipment and material storage can be expected.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as December 17, 2020 through February 2021
  • The laneway will be closed on a 24-hour basis
  • The closure duration may be longer or shorter than expected
  • The laneway may re-open for periods of time between December and February at the contractor’s discretion

TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway will be closed behind the Tertiary Entrance
  • Vehicle and pedestrian thru-access will be prohibited
  • Property access will be maintained from either end of the laneway
  • No change to traffic conditions at Chaplin Crescent and Eglinton Avenue West are required for this work
