Notice of Water Shut-Off at Chaplin Station - November 27, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

On Friday November 27, 2020, crews will continue water main repair work near Russell Hill Road and Eglinton Avenue and the Chaplin Station Tertiary Entrance.  A water shut-off is required to facilitate the repair.  Water service will be restored upon completion of the work.

Water Shut-off Details:

• Friday November 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) hours
• The following properties will be affected:
  • 615 Eglinton Avenue West
  • 617 Eglinton Avenue West
  • 4 Latimer Avenue
• Water shut-off may be longer or shorter than expected and may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances

What to Expect

Water service will be unavailable while this work takes place. Noise from construction activity can be expected.

UTILITY INTERRUPTIONS

• Water service to affected addresses will be unavailable while this work takes place

• Residents are advised to store water for domestic use ahead of the disruption

TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No change to traffic conditions at Chaplin Cres and Eglinton Ave are required for this work
