What to Expect

As part of continued permanent works at Laird Station, concrete and formwork activities will take place in the tunnels and entrance shafts between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.  All other permanent works and construction within the entrance shafts and tunnels will continue within the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Crane operations will continue between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. only.

Hours of Work

• Construction activities at the entrance shafts and tunnels will take place between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. beginning September 14, 2020 through to the end of the year.
• Crane operations will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
• Construction activities at Laird Station will take place Monday to Saturday. Work may occasionally take place on Sundays as required.
• The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion. Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic and Pedestrian Details

• There will be no changes to the current traffic configuration, the current configuration will remain in place through to the end of 2020.
• There will be no changes to the current pedestrian routes. 

Transit Information

• There will be no changes to the current TTC stop locations.
