Permanent Westbound Left Turn Lane Removal – Pharmacy Avenue

septembre 11, 2019

What Work is Taking Place?

In order to accommodate the future Pharmacy Stop construction, the westbound left turn lane (to southbound) will be removed at the Pharmacy Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East intersection as early as September 16, 2019.

Additionally, following the Eglinton Crosstown Project completion in September 2021, this left turn removal will remain in place to support the light rail transit operations along Eglinton Avenue.

Westbound left turns will be available at Eglinton Square, Sloane/Bermondsey, Hakimi/Lebovic and Warden. In addition, new turn facilities will be installed at Pharmacy/Craigton and the Eglinton Square Mall driveway to support traffic flows in the area.

  • The change is expected to be implemented as early as September 16, 2019 and will be in place permanently.
