Sewer Inspections at Laird Station

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

Between May 31 and August 31 crews at Laird will conduct sewer inspections along Eglinton Avenue East between Sutherland Drive and Brentcliffe Drive. The inspections will take place over a total of nine (9) nonconsecutive days.

TIMING

• The inspections will occur during off peak travel times. Work will not occur between 7:00am-9:00am and 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
• Work will occur during nine (9) nonconsecutive days between May 31^st and August 31^st.  
• Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC, PEDESTRIAN AND TTC IMPACTS

• Temporary work zones will be set up around the maintenance holes to allow access to the sewer.
• Short duration lane restrictions will be in place during the inspections.
• A minimum of one lane in each direction will be maintained.
• Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
• There are no TTC impacts related to this work.
