Update: Notice of Chipping at Chaplin Station Extended through April 8, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

Chipping of a concrete pile wall between the Chaplin Station Tertiary Entrance site and the station box is currently underway.  This work is expected to be complete Wednesday April 8, 2020.  Chipping involves use of an excavator and jackhammer to remove concrete and hardened material. Chipping occurs periodically as deep excavation progresses.  Noise and vibration can be expected. Lire la suite »

Notice of Chipping at Chaplin Station March 16 – 20, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

On Monday March 16, 2020, crews will begin demolition of a concrete pile wall between the Tertiary Entrance and station box, located on the south side of Eglinton Avenue adjacent the old fire hall.  Using an excavator and jackhammer, concrete will be removed from grade level to beneath the station roof.  This activity will take approximately five (5) days to complete.  Noise and vibration can be expected.
